Actors, performers, and entertainers alike are invited to audition for the 2016 Texas Renaissance Festival on Saturday, May 7! Festival organizers are seeking enthusiastic, colorful individuals who personify each themed weekend at the Texas Renaissance Festival between October 8 - November 27:
- Oktoberfest: October 8 - 9
- 1001 Dreams: October 15 - 16
- Pirate Adventure: October 22 - 23
- All Hallows Eve: October 29 - 30
- Roman Bacchanal: November 5 - 6
- Barbarian Invasion: November 12 - 13
- Highland Fling: November 19 - 20
- Celtic Christmas: November 25 - 27
The audition schedules is as follows:
- Morning Session:
- 8:30 - 9:00 a.m. - Check in
- 9:00 - 9:30 a.m. - Specialty acts auditions
- 9:30 a.m. - Noon - Character auditions
- Afternoon Session:
- 12:30 - 1:00 p.m. - Check in
- 1:00 - 1:30 p.m. - Specialty acts
- 1:30 - 5:30 p.m. - Character auditions
Performers must schedule an appointment in order to participate by calling the contact number or e-mail address listed below. Performers will be judged on confidence, speaking ability, posture/gait, and expressing emotion. Props and costumes are encouraged, along with photo and resume. All positions are paid.
